80 for Brady review: Talented team badly miscast | Films | Entertainment

Based loosely on a true story, it invites us to follow four American football-loving ladies as they embark on a trip to the Superbowl.

After yet another care home prison break, Rita Moreno, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Sally Field embark on a mirthless adventure featuring drug-laced sweeties and late-in-life romance.

Instead of bothering to craft any decent jokes, the scriptwriters rely on the concept of old people getting out of the house being inherently hilarious. This talented foursome should have known better.
