Next James Bond’s ‘face’ looks just like Tom Hardy | Films | Entertainment

Last year Daniel Craig stepped down from the James Bond series following the release of his fifth film, No Time To Die. And since then, fans have been longing for information on who the next 007 star might be. Bond bosses have revealed the news will be announced in the coming years, but some genius 007 fans have skipped the queue and asked an AI art generator to predict what the new James Bond will look like.

Rainbow Rich Casino asked an artificial intelligence tool to generate an image of the “perfect actor” to take on the role of James Bond next.

007 stars have had varied looks over the years – from age and hair colour to even country of origin – but the AI tool seems to think the next Bond will look a very specific way.

The image – which can be seen below – shows off a brooding James Bond candidate equipped with a beard for the very first time. The incredibly light-skinned mock-up also has the signature piercing blue eyes that Craig sported as 007 for 15 years.

However, most notably, the AI-generated actor looks just like one major actor: Tom Hardy.

Hardy has been a favourite with James Bond fans since 2020 following a rumour he had already been cast as 007 behind the scenes. These rumours were neither confirmed nor denied, but since then, he has been one of the biggest names on the list.

Just recently, Rainbow Rich Casino held a poll with 2,000 Brits on who they would like to see as the next star of the suave spy. 24 percent of all votes went directly onto the Venom actor – that’s almost 500 votes altogether. This means the British public is keen to see Hardy don the tuxedo and take his martinis shaken, not stirred.

This new AI mock-up follows this trend. However, the latest Bond odds tell a completely different story for the future of James Bond’s next actor.

Ladbrokes’ recently released batch of odds on the next James Bond places Tom Hardy fifth in the top ten.

The 45-year-old currently has 10/1 odds of claiming the role. And while these are fantastic odds, they are not good enough to take out the Brit at the top of the leaderboard at the moment.

The bookies recently placed former Marvel star Aaron Taylor-Johnson atop the list of candidates with a staggering 2/1 on claiming the role. The 32-year-old is in the perfect age bracket for the role and is not too famous for the role – so his time could be now.

Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said: “We’ve seen plenty of names head the Bond betting over the years, but none have been as surprising as the current favourite, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who continues to attract interest from 007 punters.”

Whoever takes over from Craig in the next Bond movie, he has previously delivered some stark advice for them.

Craig was previously quizzed on what sage words he would offer his successor.

He coolly confessed: “There’s a couple things I’d say. One is don’t be s**t. I would say, you have to grab it and make it your own.”

He added: “I hope I’ve left it in a good place and I hope the next person can just make it fly. It’s an amazing franchise. I still think there’s a lot of stories to tell.”
