Sticking a small piece of tape to the eyelids could instantly rejuvenate the face by reducing the appearance of saggy skin, a makeup artists has revealed.
Content creator Megeanonline, who has more than 320k followers on the platform, swears by the easy trick, which costs significantly less than other common procedures for younger-looking eyes.
All one needs are some small arched stickers – commonly known as eyelid tape – that fit under the crease of the eyelid to help lift the hood of the eye socket.
The mechanisms behind the tape are simple; it works by compensating for weakened elevator muscles by lifting sagging skin around the eyelid.
To obtain the most natural results, the idea is to make sure the top part of the tape is placed right on the natural wrinkle or crease of the eye and smooth it down.

“So first thing is first, we’re going to get our stickers,” Megeanonline said. “You’re going to take your adhesive […] and you’re going to look for your crease.
She added: “Take your tape and put it along that crease. You’re going to place the tape strip along the crease of the eyelid” before pressing it down securely.”
To ensure the sticker is completely concealed, apply eyeshadow the color of the tape to the eye beforehand, explained the content creator.
“I’m telling you right now, the adhesive feels really good. It feels really solid, I understand it’s on top of makeup but it has a really good grip to it. She’s doing the job.”

Hooded eyes are a common facial feature that describes an excess skin folding down from the brow line, creating the illusion of a smaller eye.
