Woman who hasn’t aged in 20 years shares the ‘simple things’ that keep her ‘looking young’

Many people up and down the country are desperate to know the key to maintaining a youthful appearance. From healthy diets to exercise, skincare routines and hairstyles, Britons will try almost anything to stop the clock when it comes to ageing. Now, 59-year-old Janey Kirk who gets called “Peter Pan” by her friends, has shared the key to her youthfulness.

Janey, who is from Kirkcaldy, Fife, claims she has hardly aged in 20 years because she looks after her skin, eats a balanced diet and doesn’t use chemicals on her skin.

She said: “Everyone calls me the Peter Pan of the singing industry because I’ve managed to stay looking so young.

“It’s all down to my daily skin routine, eating the right foods and making sure I get plenty of sunlight without sun cream – it makes the world of difference.”

Janey is a singer but has also previously done modelling work in magazines and catalogues.

As well as looking youthful, Janey claims she is still the same dress size as she was in her twenties.

The singer and former model has shared her secrets to a youthful look, claiming people need to follow these simple rules.

Skin routine

Janey claims her skin routine has helped preserve her looks. But rather than using anti-ageing creams or serums, she doesn’t use moisturiser at all.

Intermittent fasting is when you eat with people who practice the diet usually only eating during a specific window of time.

She added: “I only ever wear make-up when I’m doing a show, and I don’t wear anything fake like nails, eyelashes or painted eyebrows – the plainer the better.

“It’s these simple things that keep me looking so young, and more importantly, it makes me feel good.”
