Both Mark Hamill and Hayden Christensen have returned to Star Wars in recent years, much to fans’ delight.
Luke Skywalker was back for The Last Jedi before appearing as a Force ghost in The Rise of Skywalker.
Meanwhile, Anakin and Darth Vader were reprised by the prequels star for the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ miniseries.
However, we’ve yet to see Hayden’s Force ghost apart from George Lucas’ touching up of Return of the Jedi’s conclusion.
He did voice Anakin speaking to Rey in the final fight with Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker and according to a new report both he and Hamill’s will be back in a new Star Wars movie.

At Star Wars Celebration this Spring three new movies in the franchise were announced.
Alongside The Mandalorian and its spin-offs getting a big finale movie and James Mangold’s dawn of the Jedi film, is a new blockbuster about Rey.
Daisy Ridley is reprising her Jedi in a movie set 15 years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker and directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
Take it with a pinch of salt but according to Giant Freakin Robot’s sources, both Hamill and Hayden will reprise their Luke and Anakin Force ghosts in this Rey movie.
Little is known about the project except that it will see Ridley’s character attempting to rebuild the Jedi Order in the aftermath of the Rise of Skywalker.
If this rumour is true, presumably the dead Jedi will be mentoring her in her mission.
