It’s been over a year and a half since Daniel Craig bowed out as James Bond so explosively in No Time To Die.
Ever since the outgoing star announced the 007 movie would be his last, speculation has been rife over who’s replacement will be.
Rumours have abounded that Aaron Taylor-Johnson auditioned for the much-coveted role.
However, producer Barbara Broccoli has played it coy over how far into the creative process for Bond 26 EON Productions is.
And now a Hollywood star has claimed they auditioned for the 007 reboot as long ago as last year.

Rebel Wilson told Variety: “What was really cool was getting to audition for Bond.”
The Aussie comedian and actress stressed to the outlet she wasn’t trying out for the new 007 specifically.
After all, Broccoli has asserted that Bond will always be a man as Ian Fleming wrote the character to be.
Wilson shared that she was in fact auditioning for another character in Bond 26, but wouldn’t confirm or deny if she had landed the role.
EON Productions have a habit of working out what type of reboot they want to do before casting the new 007 to fit that feel.
Here’s hoping we get some official news at some point this year as we don’t want another six-year gap between movies like last time.
