We all lose our temper from time to time, but according to Chinese astrology, some of us are more innately angry than others.
On a blog called Tan’s Topics, which covers Chinese culture among other topics, writer Ain’t No Other Tan, spoke about each sign’s most negative characteristics in a piece called ‘The not so good, bad and ugly of the Chinese Zodiac’.
He explained that “the descriptions are exaggerated based on the ‘standard negative traits’ of each sign” and are “intended for entertainment purposes only and not to offend or generalise”.
Speaking about Tiger, born in 1928, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010, 2022 and 2034, the writer stated: “Tigers are fearless but also fearsome; anger a Tiger and you will probably live to regret it.”
He added that this sign “can be obsessive, possessive and above all, dominant”.

While Tiger is known for their confidence, the writer suggested that they can be “over-confident” at times too.
Chinese astrology hub Your Chinese Astrology also suggested that Tiger is quick to anger.
In a piece about which signs are “difficult to get along with”, Tiger made the top four signs out of 12, alongside Ox, Horse and Snake.
The astrologer suggested that Tiger people are just like their animal counterparts, behaving like a “king” and “standing high above the masses, not allowing anyone to overstep the boundary”.
Indeed, the astrologer stated: “With such a temper, they are hard to get along with and even would collide fiercely when they meet the strong!”
Tiger gets particularly irate when others “boast about their merits” to them, claimed the astrologer.
But Tiger isn’t all bad – in fact, according to Your Chinese Astrology Tiger people are known for their bravery, suggesting that they are good to have around in times of crisis.
This sign is also especially “friendly” and “charming”, meaning they make great friends and colleagues.
Their leadership skills are also excellent, meaning they make great bosses, expertly guiding others to success.
