American pop star Bebe Rexha experienced a traumatic live show over the weekend while she was playing in New York City.
The 33-year-old was playing at The Rooftop at Pier 17 for her Best F’n Night Of My Life Tour when she was attacked on stage.
Various videos on Twitter show Bebe Rexha being violently hit in the face with a phone after an attendee threw the object with some force.
The I’m Good singer clutched her head before falling to her knees in agony after the attack.
Security and her entourage quickly rushed the stage to make sure she was all right, but things reportedly went from bad to worse after that.

Twitter account Pop Crave went on to reveal that Bebe Rexha was then shipped off to hospital.
It wrote: “Bebe Rexha was taken to a hospital after being struck in the head by fan’s phone at her show.”
The account went on to add: “Her mom confirmed the singer is getting stitches for the wound.”
Fans of the singer were utterly devastated for the star, who was just a handful of dates into her tour.
One wrote on Twitter: “Why are people making jokes about Bebe Rexha getting a phone launched at her head mid gig so hard that she needed to get stitches, yous are all weirdos sorry.” (sic)
Another agreed: “This hurts to watch. I can only imagine how humiliated she must’ve felt after.” (sic)
A third chimed in to say: “[Bebe Rexha] you dont deserve this, I hope you ok.” (sic)
No official statement has been released by Bebe Rexha or her management just yet.
