Queen Rania wears exact same dress as Princess Beatrice – but one royal looks more ‘boxy’

Other royals in attendance included Sophie, Countess of Wessex and also Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. But it was Queen Rania’s colour-popping dress that caught royal fans’ attention.

The Roksanda Oakes dress is a “sleeveless colour blocked dress” that “features a high round neck, darting at the bust and a full A-line skirt” according to its description.

Unfortunately, this dress is no longer in stock, so it is unclear how much it cost at the time of purchase for Queen Rania of Jordan.

She paired the dress with a navy blue cardigan and she also carried a Fendi “Peekaboo Selleria Mini Bag” for the important occasion.

This bag sells for a whopping £3,400. It is described as a “small iconic Peekaboo bag, made of white Cuoio Romano leather and embellished with hand stitching and the classic twist lock on both sides”.

The description continued: “Featuring a tone-on-tone Cuoio Romano leather lining with two compartments separated by a stiff partition, an inner zip pocket and gold-finish metalware.

“The bag can be carried by hand or worn either on the shoulder or cross-body thanks to the handle and adjustable, detachable shoulder strap.”

Finally, for footwear, Queen Rania wore her Jennifer Chamandi “Bespoke Lorenzo 105 Navy Suede and Elaphe Pumps”, which sell for £580.

Their description reads: “Where it all began. The iconic Lorenzo pump combines timeless elegance with Jennifer Chamandi’s patented ‘Eye of the Needle’ heel signature.

“Flawless Black Nappa Mesh is handcrafted by Italian artisans into a comfortable and supremely balanced pump with a 105mm heel—the perfect height for practical sophistication from day to night.

“The Lorenzo can be worn two ways: with or without a fine leather strap threaded through the Eye of the Needle and buckled across the foot, ensuring you get maximum mileage from your beautiful new shoes.

“The strap is removable for versatility, offering both a more classic and more trend-forward look.”

However, Queen Rania is not the only royal to have worn the sleeveless Roksanda Oakes dress. Princess Beatrice wore it back in 2016.

The event was a garden party at Buckingham Palace for “The Not Forgotten Association”, where she accompanied her father Prince Andrew and younger sister Princess Eugenie.

Princess Beatrice covered her arms in a short bolero jacket in a matching shade of navy and carried an Edie Parker clutch bag.

Helen Canning, a stylist and founder of Coco Mama Style, said of Princess Beatrice’s style at the time: “The sizing isn’t great with its snug fit on the arms and the boxy shape adds bulk to her frame.

“If it’s upper arm coverage she’s after, a dress with sleeves would be a good option to keep the top half fuss-free and a nipped-in waist to highlight one of her best features,” she told Femail.

However, royal fans appeared to love Queen Rania’s style on Tuesday and took to Instagram to praise the Queen Consort’s style.

For instance, @luxmeagainpreloved said: “This is a perfect dress for the occasion – dark but with pops of colour. The Fendi bag and the shoes are the perfect finishing touch.”

In addition, @ellainthecityboston simply wrote: “Fabulous!” Another royal watcher, @ale_campos_gua added: “Daring dress!”
