Back to the Future in Concert returns to Royal Albert Hall for 40th anniversary | Films | Entertainment

Today the Royal Albert Hall has announced its 2025 slate for their Film in Concert series.

This involves watching some of cinema’s most famous blockbusters on the big screen from inside the historic venue, with each film’s score performed live by an orchestra.

There have been some real crackers in recent years, from James Bond, Jurassic Park and Indiana Jones to Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter.

And now Back to the Future in Concert returns to the Royal Albert Hall to mark the 40th anniversary of Michael J Fox’s Marty McFly setting off on his first time travelling adventure.

The special screening will feature 20 minutes of new music written by original composer Alan Silvestri for the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra event.

Also announced for 2025 is Bollywood action epic RRR and kung fu classic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Tickets start from £30 for each Film in Concert with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The film with orchestra taking place on Friday April 25 at 7:30pm, RRR Live on Sunday May 11 at 6pm and Back to the Future in Concert on October 26 at 7:30pm.

Tickets go on sale at 10am Friday, with a pre-sale available for the venue’s Friends and Patrons 24 hours earlier here.
