Adele spotted Paul, 81, in the crowd and rushes over to shake his hand.
However, the Let It Be singer instead reached out and pulled Adele in for a big warm hug.
Despite the fact Adele stopped singing for a brief moment, the crowd cheered and screamed as the two music icons embraced.
Fans at home were also in awe of the adorable moment.
One user @BenBestDeals wrote: “Wow great to see them hugging!!! I went to Paul McCartney’s Live tour concert in July of 2017 and he was fantastic!!!” while a second fan @Groyaj said: “Adele is such a sweet soul.”
Another fan @Collectxrnft gushed: “Wow historical,” as another @Acilith penned: “Adele probably the greatest woman to touch a mic.”
Meanwhile @Web_3_King pointed out: “Adele and Paul McCartney sharing a hug at her show in Las Vegas is a heartwarming moment between two incredibly talented and iconic musicians.
“It’s a beautiful example of the camaraderie and mutual respect that exists among artists in the entertainment industry.”
The two British singers share a lot in common with most of their songs awarded at least one Grammy. With 18 and 16 Golden Gramophones each, they are also the most awarded UK artists at the Grammys in history.
