Andrea Bocelli and kids Virginia and Matteo star in enchanted Christmas musical movie | Music | Entertainment

Andrea Bocelli and his equally talented children have released a Christmas album for the 2022 holiday season that is now accompanied by a magical fairy tale film. The 64-year-old tenor, 25-year-old Matteo Bocelli and 10-year-old Virginia Bocelli have been teasing the special streaming event over the last few weeks and today the festive treat has finally arrived.

A Bocelli Family Christmas, which you can watch below, opens with Virginia being surprised by a hot air balloon that whisks her away to an enchanted Christmas land as she sings Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

When the 10-year-old lands in Gressoney, Northern Italy, she heads straight for Savoy Castle, a 1904 fairy tale-style Manor House where her family is waiting for her. There the rising star is greeted by her father, her mother Veronica, Matteo, and her other brother Amos as they decorate a Christmas tree. What follows are some goosebump-inducing festive performances accompanied by dancers inside the castle and down in the market town.

Tracks from their new album A Bocelli Family Christmas get the music video treatment in the 30 minute film. These include Joy to the World, new song The Greatest Gift, Do You Hear What I Hear?, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, The First Noël and Feliz Navidad.

The festive special will also be available on TBN from December 16 and YouTube Premium subscribers will have access to an afterparty featuring exclusive content from A Bocelli Family Christmas.

Express.co.uk recently spoke with the trio about their new album, which is out now and Virginia admitted she has dealt with nerves.

Andrea said: “It’s one of the objectives in life sharing what you are experiencing and feeling with your children. The beauty of life is to be able to share. If you feel alone it’s because you do not share or relate to others. Who is closer to you than family? I’ve always shared everything from passion to football to political ideas, books, to deeper things like the sense of faith and life.”
