Andrea Bocelli teases Coronation concert duet for King Charles III | Music | Entertainment

Andrea Bocelli stunned the world with his performance of Nessun Dorma for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert last summer. Now the Italian maestro has been asked back by the Royal family to sing at the Coronation concert for King Charles III. The special music event at Windsor Castle on Sunday May 7 features headliners Katie Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That, alongside a whole host of stars including the opera singer himself.

Bocelli added: “My joy is made even greater by the extraordinary selection of artists who will walk the same boards and the chance to perform a duet of the iconic You’ll Never Walk Alone with my dear friend Bryn Terfel. This uniting piece is capable of warming the hearts of great crowds, a declaration of love and shared solidarity.”

Sir Bryn, the Welsh bass-baritone joins the tenor to perform the much-loved song made famous by Gerry and the Pacemakers the day after the coronation.
