Billy Joel lifted the roof of the house at tonight’s Grammy Awards by performing his first new single in 30 years.
The 74-year-old was joined by wife Alexis, 41, and their daughters on the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Joel, who has sold out Madison Sqaure Garden over 150 times, had not sung solo at the Grammys since 1994 where he performed The River Of Dreams.
Wearing some tinted glasses and a black leather jacket, Joel sang new song ‘Turn the Lights Back On’.
The audience got to their feet to applaud the legendary singer, who then came back after Taylor Swift’s best album win to close out the show.

“Man, Billy Joel still got it,” wrote another in agreement.
A third added: “Billy Joel is the goat. Still absolutely crushing it at 74.”
