Last night, Queen and Adam Lambert concluded the fifth and final show of their Japan tour at the Tokyo Dome.

In the run-up to the last concert, Sir Brian May posted on Instagram: “Last sound check of the tour DONE !!! NOW TO THE FINAL SHOW !!! and … honestly — I will miss this … Bri X.”

In a video from the stage of the mammoth 55,000 capacity venue, the 76-year-old told fans: “One more time. Last show.

“A short but explosive tour, I’ve got to say. Unbelievable. We’ll give it our all.”

Up bright and early for the flight home this morning, Sir Brian posted a video of Tokyo traffic on his way to the airport.

The guitar legend captioned the video: “And suddenly it all seems unreal. Up bright and shockingly early to get the plane home. Was it all a dream ? HUGE THANKS to all of you who have given us so much here in Japan. Great new memories to take home. Sayonara —- Bri.”

Here’s hoping Queen and Adam Lambert will announce some more tour dates for 2024.
