Camilla is chic at Cheltenham Festival in camel coat and fabulous symbolic brooch

Queen Camilla stepped out today to attend Ladies Day at Cheltenham Festival. She rewore one of her favourite camel coats, a camel hat and an incredible diamond brooch.

She paired the coat with a gloriously cosy hat in the same colour, lined with brown fur.

It is customary that ladies attending the festival – royal or otherwise – wear a fabulous headpiece.

This isn’t the first time Camilla wore the lovely hat to Cheltenham’s Ladies Day. In fact, it not only made an appearance this year but in 2018 and 2019 too.

@ipsiroyals tweeted: “The hat returns.” @nocontxtcamilla added: “#oldfaithful making an appearance at Cheltenham in 2018, 2019, 2023.”

The Queen Consort went for a beautiful diamond brooch in the shape of a horse, even boasting the intricate detail of a jockey riding on its back.

Camilla has an incredible collection of brooches so this symbolic one was a very deliberate choice and may serve as a lucky charm for the day.

This is not Camilla’s only equestrian-themed brooch. She has previously been spotted in the Minoru brooch which is a stunning diamond, ruby and sapphire jewel.

Never one to shy away from accessories, Camilla also wore a pair of diamond and pearl-drop earrings.

The Queen Consort famously told Vogue she would never get her ears pierced, so these earrings will be clip-on ones.

On this chilly morning the royal opted for some black leather gloves which covered her wrists.

However, Camilla was also likely wearing her Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra bracelet which she is rarely spotted without.

Underneath her hat she wore her buttery blonde locks in her signature style with lots of dimension.

She went for a flawless makeup look, complete with a sweep of blush, bronzer, rosy lips and dark eyeliner.
