Queen Camilla looked fetching yesterday on July 5, 2023, when she visited Edinburght’s Dovecot studios.
Ever the sustainable fashionista, for this occasion Camilla re-wore a Fiona Clare couture dress. The dress was predominantly navy and decorated all over with white flowers.
The floral pattern was broken up slightly by some white panels on the V-neckline, the cuffs and sides of the dress.
The Fiona Clare piece was true to Camilla’s personal style, a mid-length creation with half-sleeves, structured shoulders and was in shift style.
Fiona Clare is one of Camilla’s absolute favourite designers – she wears her pieces regularly, so much so that they have become almost part of her royal wardrobe.
Camilla accessorised with a pair of shoes that resemble a pair often worn by Kate, Princess of Wales. However, they are more practical and true to the Queen’s style.
Kate has a pair of two-tone shoes which look to be the Jennifer Chamandi Vittorio 85 leather and patent-leather slingback pumps, according to Vogue.
The towering stilettos are white with a white strap and buckle fastening, however the pointy toes are jet black. Kate also has a similar pair by Alessandra Rich.
Camilla’s most recent shoe look resembled Kate’s with its two-tone colours in black and white but the style was totally different.
Over 30 years her senior, Camilla’s round-toe, chunky heeled shoes were a more practical, understated version.
The Queen accessorised with gold jewellery, including a pair of gold-drop earrings – supposedly clip-on as Camilla famously revealed she would never get her ears pierced – and a gold pendant necklace.
