Christmas No 1 odds – LadBaby and The Pogues to The Beatles and Andrea Bocelli | Music | Entertainment

It’s just over a month until we find out this year’s UK Christmas No 1 single for 2023.

For the last five years, influencer LadBaby has scored the prize with profits going towards food bank charity The Trussell Trust.

It’s currently unknown if real name Mark Hoyle will be going for it this year, but he’s currently the bookies’ favourite to hit Christmas No 1 yet again after beating The Beatles’ record in 2022.

Coral bookmakers’ John Hill says: “It has become a tradition for LadBaby to top the official charts at Christmas, and our betting suggests the YouTube personality is going to do it again, with a record-extending sixth straight Christmas UK No 1.

“LadBaby can expect competition from some big names this year, with Adele and Ed Sheeran both prominent in the betting behind him.”

Meanwhile, other contenders for the UK’s Christmas No 1 2023 include Adele and Ed Sheeran on 10-1. Additionally, JVKE, Taylor Swift, Sam Ryder and Sidemen are all on 12-1.

Further back are The Beatles on 16-1 with their final song Now and Then and Andrea Bocelli is on 20-1 with his new track Festa, which features in the John Lewis Christmas advert.
