Deadpool 3 plot leak – Wolverine’s crucial link to Avengers Secret Wars and Loki | Films | Entertainment

Next year Deadpool 3 will introduce Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine to the MCU.

Little was previously known about the upcoming sequel but what’s clear is that there are going to be some multiversal shenanigans.

Previous Marvel rumours have implied a connection to the Time Variance Authority (TVA) in Loki and now two independent leaks seemingly confirm this.

Reliable scooper MyTimeToShineHello tweeted: “Deadpool 3 is about the TVA picking up the PRIME versions of each hero to create a multiversal army to fight the Kangs.

“And they picked Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine to recruit but he’s not fully on board. That is what the movie is about.”

The Council of Kangs featured in the end credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and as a collective are the Avengers’ latest nemesis after Thanos.

Another trusted scooper CanWeGetSomeToast tweeted: “To be clear, DEADPOOL 3 is still very much a Deadpool movie. His antics with Cable’s time machine caught the TVA’s attention, and he became their prisoner.

“When Deadpool learns out about the TVA’s plan for a multiversal army, it gives him the motivation to escape and try to convince Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine to come with him.”

Fans will remember in Deadpool 2 that Wade and Cable meddled with time hence grabbing the attention of the TVA in the upcoming movie.

They’re from the Fox universe, which looks like it’s about to crash into the MCU, just like the Sony ones did in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The big rumour is that Deadpool 3 is all leading up to 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars, the next Endgame-level movie which is expected to see superheroes from the MCU, Fox and Sony universes all teaming up together.

So yes, expect to see Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine fighting alongside Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man.
