Fantastic Four cast, release date and new title for MCU film announced by Marvel | Films | Entertainment

After months of rumours, the cast of the MCU’s Fantastic Four has been announced today.

Marvel Studios shared concept art of their First Family in what looks like a 1960s setting.

The caption read: “Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four.”

The Mandalorian’s Pascal is Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic, Mission Impossible’s Kirby is Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, Stranger Things’ Quinn is Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch and The Bear’s Moss-Bachrach is Ben Grimm aka The Thing.

Following Disney’s acquisition of Fox, this is the Fantastic Four’s first time in the MCU after two poorly received previous incarnations across three movies over the last two decades.

Fans are hopeful that Marvel Studios will finally get the Fantastic Four right as they interact with the Avengers and X-Men for the first time on the big screen.

On top of the casting announcement, the blockbuster’s release date has been announced as July 25, 2025, exactly a year after Deadpool and Wolverine releases.

Also, the film’s title has been changed from Fantastic Four to The Fantastic Four, a smart move given two of three previous Fox movies were called Fantastic Four.
