Melissa previously told Express.co.uk that while Kate tends to go for flared, high-waisted trousers nowadays, Camilla steers clear of this trend.
The Princess of Wales is also partial to a pair of denim skinny jeans which we do not see Camilla wear.
But another difference in style between the Princess and Queen Consort is that “Kate will often wear sleeveless, strapless or asymmetric one shoulder dresses whilst Camilla chooses more modest styles”.
With 30-odd years between the royal duo, Melissa predicted that this might be a notion of dressing according to age.
Kate’s arms are famously taut, possibly due to her age and fondness of sport.
Melissa continued: “Even if you started out with all these things, as you make a few more trips around the sun, all of these areas are compromised.”
But Camilla will not have to ditch certain dresses because of this, with the stylist offering a handy solution.
“The good news is that there are now ‘sleeves’ and arm shapers that you can buy to wear under sleeveless dresses and tops.
“You attach them to your bra and you’re good to go. For example, if you want to wear your favourite LBD but you don’t like the way your arms look, you could add black lace or chiffon sleeves and this would solve the problem.”
Just last month Kate looked divine in a one-shoulder asymmetric white gown to the EE BAFTA Film Awards.
For the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, the Princess opted for an off-the-shoulder black and white floor-length number.
