The Guardians of the Galaxy franchise has previously been rife with post-credits scenes.
The first film in the franchise went back to Knowhere to see The Collector in his destroyed museum. He was given a sloppy lick from Cosmo the dog before Howard the Duck made a snide comment about his appearance.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 went even further and gave the movie no fewer than five mid-credits and post-credits scenes.
Many of them were relatively forgettable, but the final stingers showed off both Kraglin trying to use Yondu’s arrow, as well as Adam Warlock being created by the Sovereign in his giant golden pod. He is now, of course, the main antagonist for the upcoming threequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.
Gunn recently posted a photo of his day off in Paris while promoting the new movie, when he was quizzed about Vol 3’s post-credits scenes.
