The bob haircut is a super chic do, and is extremely popular with mature women.
The short cut ranges between neck and shoulder length, framing the face and drawing away from any drooping.
This classic chop can make for a great look, and a professional stylist should be able to achieve it pretty easily.
But if you find yourself with a botched bob, there are plenty of things women can do to improve it, some just taking a matter of seconds.
According to hair experts at Scissor Tech, a bad bob can be improved simply by changing the parting.

A hair expert stated: “If you’re used to parting your hair in the middle, try a side part.
“It can completely change the look of your bob and might make it more appealing to you.”
The next tip was to mix it up with hair accessories, for example headbands, scarves and clips, which can “distract” from a not-so-stellar haircut whilst also injecting a little style.
Another way to change the appearance of a boring bob is to experiment with styling tools.
An expert stated: “Different styling techniques can change the appearance of your hair. Straightening, curling, or adding waves can all make a bob look different.”
For those keen on achieving their favourite styles without damaging their strands, there are plenty of ways to get straight, curly or wavy hair sans heat.
For a more permanent fix ladies who want to improve their bob can head to the hair salon for a “trim and even out” to make sure both sides are even.
Growing it out will take slightly longer but is a viable option for women who are sick of their bob.
The expert said: “While this might not be the quick fix you were hoping for, the most natural solution to a bad haircut is to let it grow out.
“Hair typically grows about half an inch per month. In the meantime, you can experiment with different hairstyles to make the growing out period less noticeable.”
For those who do not have the gift of time – or patience – hair extensions can transform a bob box into luscious locks in hours.
