The Harry Potter franchise became a global sensation when it first hit the big screen in 2001.
Fans all over the world got to know each character over the next 10 years which saw a further seven films premiere.
Although stars such as Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have had since had spectacular careers in Hollywood, not everyone remained in the limelight.
One Harry Potter actor looks worlds away from how fans may recognize him after abandoning a film career and even serving prison time.
Can you guess who it is?
Jamie Waylett, now 34, starred as Vincent Crabbe, one of Draco Malfoy’s minions, in the franchise and he now looks nothing like he did as a child star.
Despite being handed a rather promising future in the acting industry after featuring in one of the highest-grossing film series ever, Jamie has not bagged any new acting roles since the fantasy movies came to an end.
Instead, the former actor has had a troubled and turbulent life, including a brush with the law and has even changed his appearance completely.
His character Vincent Crabbe was one of the sidekicks of Harry’s long-term arch-nemesis and rival Draco Malfoy, alongside Gregory Goyle.
In The Deathly Hallows book, Vincent accidentally kills himself after setting fire to the Room Of Requirement.
However, writers were forced to change this storyline due to Jamie being removed from the cast – leaving Gregory, played by Josh Herdman, to take his place in the movie and die instead.
The reason behind his absence from the final two movies after down to his arrest in 2009 for growing marijuana in his family home and later pleaded guilty to the possession of cannabis and possession of a knife.
He was 20 years old at the time and was ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work to repent his crimes.
Jamie’s brush with the law didn’t finish there – as in 2012 he was arrested again for his participation in the London riots the previous year over charges of “violent disorder, having an article with intent to destroy or damage property, and receiving stolen goods”.
He was sentenced to two years in prison.
While never making a return to acting he has recently appeared on the personalised video website Cameo.
Although his face still looks familiar to fans, he’s now sporting a beard and a face tattoo of stars across his eyebrow.
