Disney fans: Your time has come.
The House of Mouse has just confirmed a string of tour dates for Disney In Concert: The Sound of Magic, bringing some of the biggest and best songs of the Disney mythos to life in a brand new way.
The symphonic celebration will bring the renowned Novello Orchestra to stages and theatres around the country to play “live-to-film” songs from your favourite movies.
This 100-year anniversary event is being directed by Creative Director Amy Tinkham, Music Director Giles Martin, and Arranger & Orchestrator Ben Foster.
Disney In Concert: The Sound of Music debuted at The Coliseum in London last year, where it received a number of incredible reviews.
One read: “It is a truly sumptuous multimedia experience: iconic film scenes throughout the decades are projected on a giant screen, whilst the magical musical moments are brought to life by The Novello Orchestra.”
Even more exciting is that this tour will be hitting some of the country’s biggest cities, so you should be able to make it to a showing near you.
During these shows, fans will be overwhelmed with scenes and scores from some of the greatest Disney movies of all time, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, The Jungle Book, Frozen, The Lion King, Fantasia, Encanto, Beauty and the Beast and more.
