‘I saw Coldplay last year, I can see why 2025 tickets got snapped up so quick’ | Music | Entertainment

A guaranteed electric atmosphere, a production like no other and three hours of incredible performance, this is exactly what to expect if you’re looking at getting tickets to Coldplay’s 2025 UK tour. From someone who was lucky enough to go to their 2023 Music of the Sphere’s show in Manchester, you won’t regret adding a London Wembley or Hull show to your list.

With the matching tour namesake in tow, Coldplay will be back in the UK with an unmatched 10-show run at London’s Wembley Stadium, as well as two highlight shows in Hull (a location puzzling to some, but it was actually picked by Chris Martin himself).

As tickets are snapped up in near record time, fans are going to lengths to get into the ‘Yellow’, ‘Hurts Like Heaven’, and ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ live crowd with resale tickets now soaring in demand too. Having seen then for myself in the first UK Music of the Sphere’s line-up, it’s a concert you’ll want to add to your bucket list.

For starters hearing hits from ‘A Rush of Blood to the Head’ and ‘Parachutes’ is something many fans would only dream of, but Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Guy Berryman put on a show that exceeds excellent vocals, drum, bass and guitar.

With every beat and lyric fans can expect surrounding bursts of flame, light-up stands caused by the timings of fans’ wristbands, and segments of the show even powered by renewable energy. You’ll likely spot this somewhere in the standing crowd, as in 2023 fans helped power the stage by jumping in certain sections.

If it’s anything like the last string of UK shows fans will be handed a battery wristbad on their way in, another nod to helping power the show. In hits like ‘Yellow’ and ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ this creates the atmosphere as hues of yellow and sparkling white take over.

It’s an astounding show, and since I stepped foot in the crowd no other concert has compared, their shows went viral for a reason after all. Of course, 2025 ticketholders will likely get to hear new 2024 hits ‘Feels Like I’m Falling in Love’ and ‘We Pray’ too.

Tickets for Coldplay’s newly announced 2025 UK shows only went on sale this week and they have already been snapped up. The huge demand means fans are taking to resale sites to try and get their hands on tickets.

If you’ve not bought through a resale site before, tickets originally bought during the onsale are listed by fans who can no longer attend the concert. Allowing those who missed out the chance to get a place in the crowd.

Below are the key resale sites to look at:

VIAGOGO – Buy Coldplay resale tickets here.

VIVID SEATS – Buy Coldplay resale tickets here.

STUBHUB – Buy Coldplay resale tickets here.

Although, despite the majority of official non-resale tickets being snapped up, there are still a few VIP tickets available to buy. These are available currently on Seat Unique, which offers fan experiences, as well as catering packages at Ticketmaster, Live Nation and SEE Tickets.
