Riley Reed is a name that needs no introduction in the adult film industry — from 2014 to 2016, she was in the top 10 of CNBC’s hottest adult film stars, and was even touted as the next potential Jenna Jameson.
But the wife and mother is more than just an adult film star — she’s a businesswoman who founded FanScout, which she compares to the likes of TrustPilot and TripAdvisor.
Because there’s no shortage of platforms for adult film stars — and other content creators — to use, it can be difficult to keep track of who fans should support, and when. And in this gig economy, it’s arguably more important than ever to know who to support, and where, and when — which is where FanScout comes in.
“It’s the first platform of its kind where people can discover and review individual content creators on Onlyfans, Twitch, Patreon and more to come,” she told The Express. “Since launching last month, we have had over 3,000 reviews left for creators.”

Despite her positive professional reputation, Reed said that she, herself, uses FanScout for her own purposes, because it helps her as a content creator as well.
“I always want to provide my fans with the best experience when they subscribe to me and I want to know what I’m doing well and where I can improve,” she said. “That’s what originally gave me the idea for Fanscout! I’ve been working with my team of tech creatives and digital builders for a few years now and we went to work!”
She continued: “Now, we have a tool that gives creators like me direct feedback with honest reviews and also gives potential subscribers what to expect when they join my OnlyFans page. It’s a great tool for both subscribers and creators to find value!”
With more than 100 of the world’s top creators — who, combined, have over 100 million followers — FanScout has already started to earn some well-deserved chatter in the industry. Reed says she also expects more creators to join the platform by the end of the year.
And the exponential growth of the platform is just the beginning.
“We launched by supporting Onlyfans, Twitch and Patreon, the biggest creator based platforms,” she said. “We plan to add more platforms while adding more tools for creators to control and the ability to modify their Fanscout landing pages, making them the ultimate landing page to funnel fans to their paying subscriptions.”
She continued: “We’re very excited to be able to build these features out so fans and creators see Fanscout as a valuable trustworthy tool!”
