Johnny Marr, the former guitarist of The Smiths, will be performing at some of the UK’s most iconic venues to celebrate a phenomenal first ten years of his solo career.
Having released his autobiography earlier this month, and with the new “Spirit Power: The Best Of Johnny Marr” collection set to be released on November, 3 the indie axeman is showing no signs of slowing down.
The 2024 Spirit Power tour will kick off at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall on April, 2 before heading to venues across the country including London, Brighton and Liverpool, finishing up in Nottingham on April,14.
The new tour announcement comes ahead of two very special homecoming concerts at Manchester’s Factory International Aviva Studios in December, where Johnny and his band will be joined by a 30-piece orchestra.
Johnny will be supported by former Supergrass singer Gaz Coombes across all dates.
