Justin Timberlake’s ‘unfortunate’ update on illness – cancels UK show | Music | Entertainment

Justin Timberlake has taken to Instagram to share that he had canceled his UK show at London’s Roundhouse in Camden tonight to recover from the flu.

The famous musician shared a story to his account’s 72 million followers, communicating his feelings about the absence.

Timberlake said: “This is an unfortunate video to have to send out, but I’m sure you can tell from the sound of things that I am not going to be able to make it to the show on Friday, which I’m gutted about.

“But as you may or may not know, I’ve been battling some kind of bug, and I thought it was getting better, but it just took a turn for the worse,” Billboard reports.

He added: “Maybe next time when we come into town, I’ll be able to make it up to you, and we can rock the Roundhouse one more time.”

Timberlake will return to the UK to tour in early August, hitting Birmingham, Manchester, and London.

The musician’s August London performance will take place at the O2 instead of Roundhouse.

The O2’s capacity is 20,000 compared to Roundhouse’s 800-person capacity.
