Kate, Princess of Wales and Queen Camilla are both royal fashion icons, although they have very different senses of style.
Camilla is 34 years Kate’s senior, so it’s unsurprising that the royal duo are not kitted out in similar outfits.
However, in 1995 when Camilla was around 48 years old, she wore a very similar dress to one Kate wore just last year, at age 44.
On May 19, 2022, Kate stepped out at the Top Gun: Maverick premiere in Leicester Square alongside a dapper Prince William.
She looked glorious in the Lamble Off-the-shoulder Two-tone Gown in Black and white from Rouland Mouret, priced at £3,067 on Modesens.

The gown boasted a fitted silhouette, a fluted floor-length hem and lace inset at the back.
Its most prominent feature was its off-the-shoulder neckline and white contrast panel at the top of the dress.
Kate accessorised with the Tsar Star Studs and Drops, priced at £10,560 but went sans necklace or bracelet.
The now Princess carried a chic black clutch and appeared to wear black stilettos, although these were mostly concealed by the dress.
Kate went for elegant evening makeup, complete with shimmery pink lips, a hint of blush and smokey eyes. As for her hair, this was styled pin-straight and finished off with a chic centre parting.
In 1995, the now Queen wore a very similar dress to style icon Kate when she attended a party at the Ritz.
Camilla’s show-stopping dress was a black, off-the-shoulder number just like Kate’s, however, it featured a plunging V-neckline.
Camilla opted for sheer black tights and suede black kitten heels, carrying a black handbag with a gold chain.
As for accessories, she went for a sensational pearl necklace which looked to be the three-strand Pearl Choker with Aquamarine Clasp.
Her blonde locks were worn down and curly, while her makeup was pretty minimal, sporting just a bold red lip.
In addition to their black, off-the-shoulder numbers, Kate and Camilla have both wowed in velvet – but accessorised totally differently.
