Kate, Princess of Wales look pretty in pink summer dress for V&A visit

Kate, Princess of Wales was in London today opening the Young V&A. For the occasion, she chose her mid-length blush pink dress by Beulah London.

The dress was first worn by Kate for a Wimbledon appearance back in July 2021 and is called the Ahana Dress.

It is crafted from blush-hued wool crepe and shaped to a fit-and-flare silhouette. It has a short stand neckline, cropped sleeves, and a flowy skirt that’s belted at the waist for a figure-defining fit.

When Kate debuted the dress a couple of years ago, it cost £695, but on the website, the same dress is now being sold for £720.

Alongside the blush pink Kate wears, the same dress can be purchased in five other colourways: cornflower, beige, lemon, lilac and navy.

The brand describes the Ahana dress as a “classic wardrobe must-have” and an “elegant choice for any season”.

She paired the dress with a pair of white heels – her pair of Jimmy Choo Romy 85 pumps in white leather.

For accessories, she chose her Mappin & Webb Empress earrings in diamond and white gold. The earrings were added to her jewellery collection in 2014 and has a matching necklace too.

The earrings feature 18ct gold disc drops cut into an intricate design set with brilliant-cut diamonds.

According to Mappin & Webb, the Empress design is from the company’s archives.

Elizabeth Galton, Creative Director of Mappin & Webb Jewellery, told People: “The inspiration for [the Empress earrings] came from some pieces that the brand originally created in the 1920s for the Empress of Siam.

“We’ve re-imagined them for the 21st century and of course, it’s very nice that they have been worn by one of our royals.”
