Kylie Minogue screams after discovering she’s won Grammy in dressing gown | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Kylie Minogue was among the first winners at the 66th Grammy Awards tonight, taking home a new award for Best Pop Dance Recording for her hit single Padam Padam.

The 55-year-old wasn’t at the Los Angeles awards ceremony when her name was called out, but one lucky assistant got to break the news to the singer and captured the whole moment on camera.

The former Neighbours star was nearly caught in the buff for the announcement, wearing just a dressing gown when she was told she is now a two-time Grammy winner.

Kylie couldn’t control her excitement as she let out an ear-ringing scream and began prancing around her dressing room, yelling: “Where do I go? Yes!”

Congratulations soon began pouring in as the Spinning Around hitmaker shared the clip on Instagram, including a number of celebrity supporters like Louise Redknapp who commented on the clip with a bright red heart emoji.

This win marks the Queen of Pop’s first Grammy in 18 years with her catchy 2023 track reaching the top 20 charts in multiple countries and making Kylie the first artist in history to earn the Best Pop Dance Recording title.

She valiantly battled against her fellow nominees David Guetta, who had two different tracks nominated in this category, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Bebe Rexha, Anne-Marie, Coi Leray and Troye Sivan.

While it’s only her second win, Kylie has been nominated for six Grammys over her 35 years in music.

In 2004, the Australian songstress won Best Dance Recording for her international hit Come Into My World.
