Madonna appears to be on the mend as she details her Celebration tour “re-route”, breaking her cover after being rushed to ICU.
The Vogue hitmaker was raced to the hospital following a serious medical emergency and was found “unresponsive” by her team.
She had no choice but to postpone her upcoming 80-plus gig extravaganza, a business move industry experts told Express.co.uk could cost well over $10million.
But now she’s released a new statement, telling fans she would see them “soon” for a “well-deserved celebration” after her recovery.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the chart-topping singer praised fans for their “incredible support” after she was raced to intensive care.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, entertainment lawyer Marc Ostrow admitted: “There’s no celebration anytime soon.”
Detailing the fees Madonna and her team face, the senior counsel at New York-based Romano Law added: “Any postponement or cancellation of dates on a major, multi-city tour creates a logistical nightmare and results in losses of millions, sometimes tens of millions of dollars – even for just a few rescheduled dates.
“Outright cancellations of tour dates are rare as those are even more costly than postponements.”
Express.co.uk contacted Madonna’s representatives for comment.
