Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were pictured excitedly cheering on athletes as sporting events kicked off for Day 5 of the Invictus Games.
The Duchess of Sussex looked completely captivated by the sporting event as she headed to the swimming pool to watch the competitors among crowds of cheering supporters.
Markle opted for an understated look in a structured black blazer from Céline Blazer, layering the outerwear with a J.Crew top black denim jeans, and beige trainers.
She sported a smoky eye with some peachy blush and a simple glossy lip, while her raven hair was gathered into a slick up-do, letting her loose locks frame her face.
Accessories included a thin watch and ring on the right pink finger, though royal watchers were quick to point out that no engagement ring was spotted on her left hand.
The sentimental jewel, designed by the late Queen’s jeweler Cleave and Company, is reportedly being serviced because a “setting came loose”.
As the engagement band misses in action, attention has suddenly shifted towards the Lorraine Schwartz pinky ring, which is reportedly worth £56,000 ($62,000), according to Nationworld.
The designer’s website states that Schwartz is “responsible for some of the most iconic jewelry moments of the 21st century”, as pieces have “adorned some of the world’s most influential individuals – from royalty to industry icons, and A-list celebrities”.
The piece was first spotted on Meghan as she marked her arrival to Dusseldorf with an appearance at the friend and family dinner.
For her first evening at the event, the Duchess donned a timeless look in a chic Banana Republic dress, which she elegantly paired with her wedding band.
The black midi shirt dress, with its A-line neck and elbow-length sleeves, was paired with black stiletto heels by Aquazarra.
A Bottega Veneta belt, which she reportedly sourced from a vintage store, matched perfectly with a pair of previously worn Aquazza Purist pumps.
Meghan’s aides claim the 42-year-old had just an hour to get ready for the event, leaving fans impressed that she jumped straight into work.
During her first appearance at the event, Meghan said: “I’m thrilled that the first event I’ve been to for Invictus is here with all of you. It’s amazing, and the mood so far is off to a good start.”
