Meghan Markle travelled in style to take a flight to London, wearing a simple black-and-white ensemble with a hefty price tag. The Duchess of Sussex left both Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet at home in California in order to catch a flight from Los Angeles.
Meghan will have a quick stop in Britain before she joins Harry in Dusseldorf, Germany where he is currently at the Invictus Games, and the Duchess will be there to celebrate Harry’s birthday 39th birthday this Friday.
Meghan wore a loose black top with matching baggy three-quarter-length trousers to catch her flight. She accessorised the outfit with white Valentino shoes worth $770 (£617) and a Panama straw hat worth $153 (£122) which is a known favourite accessory of the Duchess, who has worn the summer hat on a number of occasions.
Meghan completed the perfect travelling look with Celine sunglasses worth $500 (£400) and was seen smiling as she clutched a grey Goyard tote bag worth $2,650 (£2,120). Meghan’s travelling outfit was worth at least $4,073 (£3,265).
Meghan was seen at an In-N-Out restaurant close to her home in Montecito yesterday.
The Duchess claimed the burgers have been one of Harry’s “favourite” American foods since he began living in the States, despite the couple living far away from a local restaurant.
In an interview with Variety last year in 2022, Meghan said: “It’s funny. People sometimes think we live in Los Angeles, but we’re a good two hours outside of it.”
Meghan continued: “We’re commuters, we drove down recently for a day of back-to-back meetings, equipped with chocolate chip cookies the size of my toddler’s head.
“Also, my husband’s favourite is In-N-Out. There’s one at the halfway point between LA and our neck of the woods. It’s really fun to go through the drive-thru and surprise them. They know our order.”
Earlier this year, Harry enthusiastically revealed his appreciation for American food and revealed what he and Meghan like to order. In an interview with People, Harry said: “In-N-Out is the best! I order two double-doubles, animal style, fries and a Coke! And that’s just for me!”
“Meg gets the cheeseburger and fries with sides of jalapeños. I just stick with ketchup and that special sauce of theirs. So good!”
