Meghan Markle wins ‘relatable’ praise from royal fans as everyone says the same thing | Royal | News

Meghan Markle’s “casual” appearance as she stepped into a high-end sushi restaurant to meet with Oprah Winfrey’s executive producer has won praise from fans.

Despite the upscale fancy dinner in Los Angeles, Meghan Markle kept things casual as she flashed a beaming smile for the paparazzi as photographers caught her entering a luxury sushi restaurant for a bite to eat.

The Duchess of Sussex is understood to have dined at Asanebo Restaurant with the Executive Producer of Oprah Winfrey’s production company, Terry Woods.

The appearance together on Thursday night has sparked rumours that Meghan and Oprah are planning to team up for a new venture in the coming months.

Amid the fanfare, on social media, Meghan Markle’s fans have praised her “relatable look” for keeping things casual in tonal grey for her outing.

The casual look admired by fans did not come cheap. For the evening Meghan dressed in a grey sweater from La Ligne costing £232 ($295), high-rise grey skinny jeans from Anine Bing priced at £180 ($230), and metallic grey leather ballet pumps.

Meanwhile, her grey large bag Bellechasse Biaude PM Bag approximately cost an eye-watering £2,894 ($3,670). Royal fans have praised the Duchess for putting together a look many can replicate with inexpensive alternatives.

On Instagram, @_emma_hurley said: “Meghan does casual looks so well. This is a reminder that skilly jeans will never go out of fashion – such a good look for a leggy petite like Meghan.”

Whereas @rshields646 claimed a sweater, jeans and flat jeans “look great and are easy to wear”. Other fans applauded Meghan for styling a “great, casual look”. Fan, @rebpat1113 said: “Love her casual looks. This is something I could see myself wearing. She looks lovely.”

Avid fashion enthusiasts also focused on Meghan’s winter wardrobe on the ski slopes in Whistler, Canada, during her and Prince Harry’s visit to mark the ‘One Year to Go’ event for the Invictus Games 2025.

In Whistler, Meghan donned a quilted cream puffer maxi coat from Calvin Klein and once again stuck to one colour palette. The puffer jacket also caught the attention of social media users, with one writing: “Firstly Meghan looks soooo beautiful!!!! Secondly, I love her maxi puffer jacket and the boots.”

During both casual appearances, Meghan has worn her glossy chestnut locks down and opted for a fresh-faced look with blush cheeks and soft eyebrows.

Hair colourist, Kadi Lee, posted photos of Meghan Markle on the ski slopes in Whistler giving royal fans a glimpse into her new hair hue.

Writing on an Instagram post, Kadi Lee wrote: “Chocolate chestnut brunette, for Meghan, Duchess of Sussex for Invictus Games.”

They added: “This mixture of red and golden undertones makes a dynamic shade of brunette that not only gives skin the healthiest glow, especially during the colder months of winter, it also provides the hair with a next-level high power shine.”

The Duchess of Sussex styled her espresso-hued tresses several ways during her visit to Canada ahead of the Invictus Winter Games.

The 2025 games will offer the Invictus community the chance to compete and experience a world-class winter sports programme of alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, skeleton, and wheelchair curling.
