Mother Mother announce return to UK arenas with tickets out soon | Music | Entertainment

Mother Mother, one of the most iconic alt-pop rockers in the world, have just announced one of their biggest UK tours of all time.

The Canadian band, which is fronted by Ryan Guldemond, confirmed they’ll be returning to the UK and Europe on an extensive 2024 tour with 30 dates.

Beginning in February 2024 in Sheffield, this is the band’s widest-spanning British tour to date, and they’ll be hitting some of the country’s biggest cities, including London, Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, Brighton, and many more.

To make things even more exciting, Mother Mother just released a new single to celebrate the announcement.

The Burning Pile singers just dropped To My Heart, a joyous song that feels like the band’s early work.

Speaking about the new track, Guldemond said: “To My Heart is a song about trekking through the treacherous internal landscape of one’s stored bodily trauma to arrive home safely in the space of the heart. It’s a theme that mirrors the old adage, ‘The only way out is through.’

“We hold this concept dear and find ourselves returning to it often, as a means to become more whole ourselves and ideally to provide the listener with some support, should they find themselves on a similar, often rocky path back to an open heart. Musically, this feels very classic Mother Mother, with the acoustic guitar and trio harmonies guiding the way – a recurring aesthetic on the new album.”

Tickets for Mother Mother’s massive UK tour come out at the end of the week, and fans should gear up for a lot of Problems, as they are expected to sell out relatively quickly.
