Next Bond ‘red hot’ favourite attracts over 70 per cent of bets in last 2 weeks | Films | Entertainment

The star in question is Aaron Taylor-Johnson, whose first trailer for Kraven the Hunter was released this week.

The 33-year-old showed off his action prowess and muscular build, proving he certainly would have what it takes to be Ian Fleming’s spy.

Coral’s John Hill said: “Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the red-hot favourite now to replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond. Over two-thirds of all the bets we have taken in the last 14 days have been for the British actor.”

The bookies’ current next Bond frontrunner are: “7-4 Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 5-2 James Norton, 3-1 Henry Cavill, 7-1 Tom Hardy, 7-1 Richard Madden, 8-1 Rege-Jean Page, 10-1 Jack Lowden, 14-1 Idris Elba, 16-1 Callum Turner, 16-1 Sope Dirisu, 20-1 Aidan Turner, 20-1 Lucien Laviscount.”

Of course, all this should be taken with a pinch of salt as there are yet to be any official announcements and we’re very much still in the rumour mill stage.
