Next James Bond odds – Bookies’ frontrunners in 007 race to replace Daniel Craig | Films | Entertainment

Just who will be cast as the next James Bond? Could an announcement be coming this year?

Fans are ever hopeful given it’s been over two and half years since No Time To Die hit cinemas.

Whoever replaces Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming’s spy has some big shoes to fill.

Two decades have passed since the last round of Bond auditions and the franchise has never killed off the character before.

Bond 26 will therefore be a total reboot as though the previous films never happened and as it stands here are the bookies’ favourites to bag the most coveted role in Hollywood.

Kraven the Hunter star Aaron Taylor-Johnson remains the bookies’ favourite on 13-8 at William Hill. Just behind him on 5-2 is Henry Cavill, followed by Damson Idris on 7-2, both Tom Hardy and James Norton on 5-1, plus Regé-Jean Page on 11-2. Additionally, there are Paul Mescal and Dev Patel on 7-1, Sope Dirisu and Harris Dickinson on 8-1 and Richard Madden on 10-1.

Here’s hoping there will be some official news at some point soon from producer Barbara Broccoli.
