Next James Bond odds – Star with big interest ‘set to top’ Aaron Taylor-Johnson | Films | Entertainment

Next month it will have been two years since No Time To Die had its world premiere at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

James Bond fans continue to speculate over who the next 007 after Daniel Craig will be.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been the bookies’ favourite for months following rumours of a secret audition with Barbara Broccoli.

The 33-year-old star of Kraven the Hunter has proven his action and comedy chops across blockbuster cinemas from Bullet Train to Kick-Ass.

However, the latest Bond odds are in and he may lose his top spot to a star who’s picked up a lot of attention in recent bets over the last 24 hours.

The actor in question is James Norton, who is on 3-1 to be the next Bond just behind Taylor-Johnson’s 11-4.

The Happy Valley star also caused a stir recently when spotted chatting to Craig in the Royal box at the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Singles final last month.

Coral’s John Hill said: “We have seen significant interest in James Norton in our James Bond betting over the last 24 hours. The British actor is now just behind Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the betting and should the interest continue, he could jump ahead of him soon as the new favourite.”

Just behind on Taylor-Johnson and Norton are Henry Cavill and Regé-Jean Page on 4-1.

Other contenders in the bookies’ next Bond race include Tom Hardy on 7-1, Paapa Essiedu on 8-1 and Jack Lowden on 12-1.

And further back are Richard Madden and Callum Turner on 14-1, Aiden Turner on 16-1 and Sope Dirisu on 20-1.
