People who spot hidden detail in drawing may be more naturally intelligent

A new optical illusion has invited players to find a hidden fruit among lines of color to more learn about their professional capabilities.

Viewers who spot the apple might be able to say they’re more naturally intelligent than their peers, it has been claimed.

The difficulty of the task lies in the fact that the fruit is concealed among a yellow and pink stripy background, making it harder to spot.

Those who are successful in spotting the detail, however, are renowned for being naturally intelligent and are “unlikely to take things at face value”.

These individuals tend to look for nuance in most situations, giving them an advantage in work environments.

As co-workers, they tend to be pleasurable to work with, as they’re quick to pick things up and are incredibly reliable, making them the ideal team members.

Those who are naturally intelligent are also likely to be stimulating, good at communicating in many different ways, and generally more organised.

Intelligent individuals in the workplace are curious beings by nature and are good at processing various sets of information, regardless of subject matter.

“No matter what they’re faced with, they’ve always got a solution,” explained the experts at Instantprint, the creators of the optical illusion.

Furthermore, these people also have strong analytical skills and are quick to recognise patterns, conceptualise ideas and execute plans.

Though mind tests of this nature should be taken with a pinch of salt, they draw on the understanding our minds make assumptions about the world that are different from the truth.

Over the years, this has led psychologists to ponder why the eyes are so easily fooled by simple drawings and brainteasers.

It’s been suggested that optical illusions may reveal important information about how the mind processes, time and space.
