A bride-to-be, who is marrying later than her younger sister, said she had been threatened by her sister who said she would abort her baby if she didn’t give her wedding dress to her to loan.
The bride-to-be shared her troubling experience of being coerced by her pregnant sister in a shocking turn of events.
She was caught off guard when, during a dinner gathering with family and friends, her 23-year-old sister Lucy, along with their stepmother, confronted her after she revealed her pregnancy.
Lucy made a hurtful toast directed at her older sister, publicly announcing that she was expected to “gift her wedding dress” because Lucy was now getting married first.
The bride-to-be took to someecard to recount this distressing situation.

The post read: “She said she was thankful for having a bigger-in-size and in-heart sister like me to gift my wedding dress to her since she is getting married in November.
“I’m only 136lbs and did not think I was actually fat at the time.”
“I, shocked and embarrassed, tried to ask her what she meant by that as politely as possible. My step mum responded with ‘Don’t worry, it’s just one of those sister teasings you have never been able to comprehend’ and for us to all talk about it later.
“It was all too much for me.”
“I was humiliated by everything and burst into tears in front of everyone and went to the bathroom while my stepmom said ‘see’ and mocked me, telling me to grow up. They both did end up coming into the bathroom after 30 minutes.”
Her sister accused her of ruining the “most exciting news of a lifetime” but the older sister demanded an explanation from Lucy and her stepmother.
She went on: “Apparently her and my stepmum had talked and decided that since my wedding was not until March, and since I am fatter than them, I would not mind just loaning my dress (that I have not even picked up yet from alterations) or buying another one since I had saved and invested with my ‘big degrees’ into my wedding that I can afford special alterations.”
The sister then said, “since I am so much bigger, there would not be any alterations needed for her [pregnant body] to fit my dress”.
After she said no, her sister threatened to exclude her from the bridesmaid lineup.
Undeterred, the elder sister accepted this consequence without hesitation but Lucy and her stepmother confronted her, accusing her of “tearing the family apart” and showing indifference toward her soon-to-arrive niece or nephew by not giving her the dress.
The sister found herself subjected to a week-long campaign of harassment from a coalition of family members and Lucy’s friends, who targeted her through social media, phone calls, emails, and even in-person confrontations.
Her brother-in-law-to-be then stepped in and threatened to call off the wedding with Lucy, who responded by dropping the abortion bombshell on her sister.
She added: “Things have been quiet ever since then until tonight when I got a call from my sister saying she has scheduled an abortion tomorrow for her baby girl since she can’t fit into her dress.
“She then said that I could stop all of this if I just honoured her simple request of giving her my dress. I told her that if she was aborting her baby over a dress, then she does not deserve to have any children.”
Lucy and her fiancé had a huge argument about the situation, with the fiancé saying he knew nothing about an abortion and that her younger sister had no clue about the gender of their baby.
