Prince George may be the future King, but for now he is a nine-year-old, looking for laughs and banter just like any boy his age.
While the Royal Family uphold the highest levels of decorum at their public engagements, they also know how to have fun, and the adult royals are often seen entertaining the little ones.
On June 5, 2022, the royals gathered together for the Platinum Pageant as part of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
At the concert, Prince George was seen hanging out with his cool aunt figure Zara Tindall.
Zara was spotted poking George in the ear with a Union Jack flag, much to the amusement of Kate, Princess of Wales. George appeared to react with what could be surprise or a mock side-eye expression.

In another snap, George was turning around in his seat to Zara who was sat in the row behind him.
Scrunching up his face, he pointed his own Union Jack flag at Zara, which caused the royal to laugh.
Princess Charlotte appeared to grin seeing this interaction, whilst mum Kate also smiled along.
Despite everyone’s royal status, the family are able to enjoy an old-fashioned prank.
In another photo, Zara was snapped leaning forward to George and cousin Prince William, beaming as young George smiled.
Throughout the event, Kate, Will and the children interacted with Zara and her little one, Lena Tindall.
Mike Tindall has spoken before about the close relationship he and Zara have with William and Kate, so it’s unsurprising that they are so comfortable and jovial with each others’ kids.
The rugby player turned royal once told Good Morning Britain: “Our family growth has been quite intertwined with theirs.
“The kids are very close, which is great for the kids that they’re always going to have some cousins that they’re the same age as and can grow up with.”
Body language expert Judi James previously told Express.co.uk why she thinks that Kate and William’s “closest” royal friends are Zara and Mike Tindall.
