Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Louis’s Coronation outfits contain hidden message

As Prince George was a page in his grandfather’s Coronation, he wore ceremonial red robes along with Queen Camilla’s grandsons and a few other boys. George’s younger siblings, however, wore contrasting colours to him, and together the three children of Kate Middleton and Prince William created a subtle nod to Britain.

Princess Charlotte, eight, stepped out looking angelic in an Alexander McQueen dress with a cape, both created from ivory silk crepe.

The little white dress and cape looked beautiful on the eight-year-old and she paired them with white “Siena” shoes in cream leather from Papouelli.

In order to match the Princess of Wales, Charlotte also wore a mini-me version of her mother’s headpiece.

She opted for a similar silver bullion, crystal and silver thread headpiece by Jess Collett for Alexander McQueen.

Finally, Prince Louis, five, looked dapper in a Hainsworth Garter Blue Doeskin Tunic.

It had custom lace work embellishments to the collar, cuffs, and fronts, all produced by Savile Row bespoke tailors Dege and Skinner.

The royal’s leg clothing was black with a Garter Blue stripe.

Together, George, Charlotte and Louis created the colours of the British flag with their clothing – red, white and blue.

Twitter user @LaddGiacomo added: “Prince Louis – cute as a button!”

Similarly, @storiesbyjemay commented: “Prince Louis wore a bespoke outfit from a Savile Row tailer.

“Perfectly fitted. Best dressed male not in uniform.”
