Princess Beatrice attended a charity event at 3 Acres Inn in Yorkshire on behalf of Forget Me Not Child yesterday.
For the occasion, she wore a yellow and white pinstriped dress and a white bomber jacket.
Her dress is not new, but it is the Jasper Conran Blythe Full Skirt Shirt Midi Dress in yellow/midi and is priced at £250.
It is still available to buy online and comes in three other colourways; lilac, blue and green.
The website description for the dress reads: “The signature Blythe shirt dress is a timeless style beautifully constructed in a plain weave cotton blend fabric.
“This fit and flare midi dress features a half elasticated waist for comfort and fit, side pockets and a removable obi belt.”
As for her jacket, Beatrice wore the Maxi Bomber Jacket with Pockets in Ecru from Zara. It is from the brand’s current season and is priced at £89.95.
The jacket is a “cropped bomber jacket with a round neck and long sleeves”. It has “front maxi patch pockets with flaps”, complete with lining, “matching ribbed trims” and a “front snap-button fastening”.
To complete her outfit, Beatrice chose to reward her Chanel Lambskin Ballerinas in Beige and Black.
Beatrice’s recent outfits have been the envy of royal fashion fans, but yesterday’s dress and jacket weren’t a hit with everyone.
On Instagram, Tashas_2000 said: “I can see the idea behind this, but this sort of styling doesn’t work when the jacket and the shirt/too both have volume.” Kclob replied: “I agree! It looks odd to have the sleeves of the jacket pushed up!”
Styledbybklyn added: “Maybe if the dress sleeves were rolled up so they wouldn’t be sticking out from under the jacket? But I like the concept.” And Birdnerd327 agreed: “The dress is super cute but the jacket with the sleeves rolled up is just weird and a nope.”
Carmnavia said: “The jacket with the sleeves pushed up ruined this outfit.” And Modern_southern wrote: “The jacket just ruined a really cute outfit.”
