Kate, Princess of Wales donned a new style at Wimbledon today. The royal looked stunning in a chic white and mint green co-ord, consisting of a white Bouclè and Georgette gown and £1,950 Balmain blazer.
The tailored top featured statement white buttons which stood out amongst the mint green hue of the main body.
Teamed with a simple white dress made with a pleated a-line skirt, the royal stayed true to her style with her favourite pair of white Gianvito Rossi heels (£495) and a designer Mulberry clutch bag (£675).
Having worn various shades of pink and blue most recently, the green garment was a new style for Kate – though the outfit looked similar to one she wore to the National Portrait Gallery in June.
Last year, Kate donned a series of Polka dot dresses for the tournament in varying shades of blue. The royal accessorised with blue sapphire earrings and chic sunglasses, though she opted for a different look today.
Kate opted for her signature loose waves worn across her shoulders. Her brunette locks were complemented by neutral makeup, with a sweep of eyeliner and a touch of blusher.
To avoid overpowering the statement outfit, the Princess kept her jewellery simple, opting for a dainty pearl bracelet and drop earrings by Shyla London (£72) to match.
Channelling her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, the royal’s outfit resembles one that the former Princess of Wales once wore.
Diana’s smart ensemble featured the same classic tailored fit as Kate’s blazer and an almost identical pastel shade.
While the 41-year-old teamed it with a more glamorous white skirt, Diana opted for a shorter pencil style and knee-grazing hemline.
The tennis-loving royal looked elegant and composed, but she narrowly avoided a fashion faux pas as she made her way to the court-side seating.
Kate was pictured clutching the collar of her jacket as she walked down the stairs in what appeared to be an effort to stop the v-neck from splitting open.
But her charismatic nature played it off well as she made it to her seat without any issues.
Earlier in June the Princess of Wales joined sporting star Roger Federer in celebrating Wimbledon’s Ball Girls and Boys at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.
The 41-year-old royal got stuck in with the teams as they practised in the run-up to the 2023 Championships.
Kate donned her tennis whites for the occasion, consisting of a smart sports jacket, vest and skort to match. Today, however, the Princess looked far more glamorous in a designer number.
