Kate’s casual outfits are as stylish as what she wears for formal occasions.
Kate, Princess of Wales is known for her put-together style, with many fashion fans following her every move and hoping to steal her style when they see her latest outfit.
Although Kate inevitably wears designer brands often, she is also partial to wearing pieces from certain high street shops, which could be music to the ears of those looking to recreate her looks.
She often chooses more affordable brands for casual, laidback looks and rather than following trends, she seems to start them, with many items she’s worn previously selling out just days after she’s spotted wearing them.
We’ve rounded up some of Kate’s favourite brands that she’s been seen wearing multiple times over the years.
Superga
The Princess wearing Superga trainers.
Footwear is one of Kate’s outfit components she often opts for more affordable options, and when she wears more casual outfits, she usually finishes them off with a pair of white trainers.
She’s been spotted several times wearing the White Canvas Cotu Classics from Superga, which come in at £65, and thanks to their clean and neutral design, they can be styled in endless ways, especially for spring and summer.
The trainers also come in a huge range of other shades, including brighter options to add a pop of colour to an outfit.
Superga also currently has a huge sale on, with hundreds of trainers reduced to less than half price, including the yellow shade of the Cotu Classics for £19.50, and the 2708 Hi Tops for £32.

The princess often opts for demi-fine jewellery brand Missoma.
When Kate chooses which jewellery to accessorise with, she generally goes for simple and classic designs, avoiding statement pieces.
One more elevated accessory that she does sometimes wear is earrings, and the Zenyu Chandelier hoops from Missoma have been a firm favourite for formal occasions.
Paired with a green sequin dress for the 2021 Royal Variety Performance, the earrings added a sophisticated touch, and were visible alongside Kate’s side-swept hairstyle.
The earrings are still available to buy, and Missoma describes the unique ‘bobble’ design as being ‘inspired by Columbia’. They’re priced at £139, and have hundreds of reviews on the demi-fine jeweller’s website.
Boden
The princess often chooses to wear Boden pieces.
For knitwear pieces, Kate sometimes favours Boden, a British brand that focuses on timeless, classic designs.
For past outfits, the princess has chosen to wear statement colours, including a bright and bold pink coat and jumper combination, which she styled with classic black trousers and a black clutch bag, to contrast with the pink.
Although her exact Boden jumper is no longer available, the brand has some similar pieces, and some are even on sale at the moment.
The Alma Contrast Trim Jumper is an alternative to Kate’s, and shoppers could even emulate her pink-on-pink look, with the Canterbury Textured Coat which is currently reduced from £220 to £154. Those looking to update their wardrobes for spring can also get 15 percent off new season styles with code A8G1.
Reiss
Reiss’ smart pieces are staples in Princess Kate’s wardrobe.
Reiss is another one of Kate’s go-to brands, and she’s worn blazers, dresses and knitwear from the brand in the past couple of years.
She was pictured in the Reiss Larsson Double-breasted Twill blazer last year when visiting Windsor, which is still available in camel and navy, although not in the exact ‘natural’ shade she wore.
To recreate the shades in Kate’s look, there is a similar-coloured blazer from Reiss, the NRD Alyx Double-Breasted Twill blazer, but at £268 it is still an investment piece.
On a winter visit to volunteer at a baby bank, Kate also embraced the ‘winter whites’ look and wore the Edina Relaxed Wool-Cashmere Blend Roll Neck jumper in cream.
Jigsaw
The princess sometimes opts for simple outfits with Jigsaw pieces.
For a 2022 visit to the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, Kate’s outfit included a pair of Jigsaw trousers, which are a versatile piece that could easily by styled for work, evenings out and other occasions.
The exact pair are no longer available, however Jigsaw has multiple alternatives, like the Modern Crepe Sailor Trouser, which has a similar silhouette.
When buying from Jigsaw, shoppers can expect smart, tailored pieces that can be worn time and time again without being trend-led or going out of style.
Kate’s familiarity with the brand goes even further than just wearing it, as a Jigsaw spokesperson claimed she reportedly worked as an accessories buyer at Jigsaw for a short time before joining the Royal family, which may have sparked her interest in the brand.
