Queen Camilla accessorised with the late Queen Mother’s rock crystal brooch today as she arrived at the Maundy Thursday service.
The brooch is made from transparent rock crystal. The gem has a diamond in the centre and a diamond border with black enamel accents.
Due to the transparency of rock crystal, the brooch oftentimes takes on the colour of the clothing worn behind it, hence why it looked navy today on Queen Camilla. In the 1920s, the Queen Mother first wore the brooch, most frequently as a headwear decoration.
Queen Camilla could be seen holding a navy blue handbag, which appeared to be her AS1286 Crossbody Bag from Chanel which is no longer in stock.
