Queen Camilla looked fabulous this morning at the QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot Racecourse.
She wore one of her many coat dresses. Over the years these have essentially become her royal wardrobe. They are modest and regal yet flattering too.
Today’s coat dress was mid-length, perfect for this chilly October day.
It boasted long sleeves and a chic slit up the middle, unveiling the Queen’s suede black over-the-knee boots.
The royal accessorised with a statement hat in the same colour that was decorated with huge ribbons.
Camilla’s accessories were on point today. Her suede black boots were so in fashion, the ultimate autumnal shoe.
She wore some leather or faux leather gloves that appeared to be black or dark brown.
Of course, she wore a fabulous brooch which gave a sartorial nod to the day’s events.
Today she wore her diamond brooch depicting a horse and jockey. This may have been a nod to the late Queen Elizabeth II, who was known for her love of horses.
According to the Court Jeweller, the jockey on the brooch is wearing the late Queen’s silks. The purple and red added a vibrant pop of colour to the brooch.
It is also very similar brooch Elizabeth II was gifted by the Racing Post for her 90th birthday.
Camilla famously has never gotten her ears pierced, but this doesn’t stop her experimenting with the style trend.
The royal has a collection of clip-on earrings. The ones she wore today were predominantly gold but with some diamonds for extra sparkle.
Camilla wore her buttery blonde locks in her signature flicked out style. Her makeup was classic but beautiful, complete with mascara and pale pink lipstick.
