King Charles will be presented wirh the Honours of Scotland later today in a National Service of Thanksgiving in St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh.
Todays festivities in Scotland include a People’s Procession, a Royal Procession, a 21-gun salute, and a flypast by the Red Arrows.
For the occasion Queen Camilla looked regal in official gowns and some suitably stunning jewels including pearl earrings.
She went for a pair of glamorous white pointed-toe stilettos for the exciting occasion.
However, this was a pretty uncharacteristic style choice from her, as she tends to go for more rounded toes and kitten heels.
Camilla’s earrings were her signature pearl and diamond pendant pair which she wears to almost every public appearance.
Over the years they have very much become part of her royal wardrobe.
The Queen reportedly debuted these earrings on her wedding day, April 9, 2005.
They are likely hugely symbolic for Camilla for this reason, as they marked her entrance into the Royal Family.
They may also be a symbol of her love for Charles which has spanned several decades.
The earrings appear to include a stone surrounded by little diamonds, with a huge pearl drop hanging down.
As for Queen Camilla’s outfit, this was the late Queen Elizabeth’s thistle robe and hat, including the star and collar.
Hugely symbolic, It’s the first time Camilla has been seen in her thistle robes since her appointment to the order on June 16, 2023.
Underneath these special robes she wore a long white Bruce Oldfield dress which complemented her shoes.
Camilla wore a white and gold couture gown by the same iconic designer at King Charles’s Coronation on May 6, 2023.
